Normally, building a workflow means manually adding steps, configuring conditions, and assigning approvers one field at a time. Today, I'll build a real, multi-step legal workflow simply by describing it in chat. Let's head over to the workflow builder section.
As you can see, the workflow screen has changed. We now have a chat channel directly within the workflow section where you can describe your workflow and let LinkAI generate it for you. Before we begin, let's take a look at the new blueprint library.
These templates are available to LinkSquare's customers and provide a starting point, so you don't have to build from scratch. There are blueprints for contracting activities such as drafting, review, and NDA intake, as well as blueprints tailored to departments like procurement and compliance.
Let's begin with one of these pre written workflow prompts and create an inbound agreement review process.
After selecting it, a blank workflow draft opens with review inbound agreements as the initial set. It then asks a handful of questions to guide the workflow setup. First, how should this workflow start? In this case, I'd like it to start by a human manually triggering the request.
Let's make this a vendor agreement workflow. For the intake, I'd like to see whether there are any vendor intake forms or templates already created.
Third, I'd like the review process to begin with an auto red line from my vendor rules playbook.
From there, the agreement needs to be assigned to legal, finance, and security for review. Reviews can be asynchronous or sequential. Once the document is finalized, send a notification to the original submitter, along with an AI generated executive summary to all involved parties.
Perfect! LinkAI found a vendor MSA intake template.
It provided a proposed structure for our workflow, the intake step, the auto redlining step, and a parallel review, exactly as requested. It also included the executive summary through LinkAI, followed by notifications to the original submitter and the legal, finance, and security reviewers. It does have a few clarifying questions. Once I answer the questions, we can see how it builds the workflow.
We can see it start to build the workflow steps on the right with the vendor agreement intake. It then adds the auto redlining based on my vendor playbook.
From there, it includes the cross-functional review.
It has not added the security review because it needs an assignee. For now, I'll use a placeholder user and keep building this workflow.
Alright. We've added the executive summary and the notification. Here's the workflow, but let's make it a little more interesting. Let's just say that if the contract value is over a hundred thousand dollars, add a risk review after the auto redline.
You can see the step has been created and is now in the right order.
Perfect. The workflow is updated and we can return to the home screen, select the review inbound agreements workflow, and take a look.
And just like that, I just built branching, parallel approvals, and conditional logic without any technical configuration.
That's how you use the Workflow Builder Agent and Workflow Blueprints to create or edit workflows in the LinkSquares' Agentic platform.
