When a revenue rep creates a quote that requires a discount, we can initiate the approval workflow.
Once the quote has been created and the discount has been configured, hit the request discount approval button.
Once the approval is submitted, the relevant approvers will be notified by their Slack work log.
From there, stakeholders can approve or reject the quote right from Slack and provide any additional information on the reasoning.
The decision status is automatically reported across each system keeping sales and legal on the same page.
For example, the Slack channel is updated with the approvals.
Next and finalize, the activity log shows the agreement status moved to ready for signature and the activity log updated with the approvals and notes. You'll see that the discount approval task is checked off and complete.
Finally, in Salesforce, you'll see the quote status is approved.
